Alexander Turnbull Library Names

The Alexander Turnbull Library creates 'Name' records to reflect the contexts of its unpublished collections. Names are defined as entities (corporate bodies, persons or families) who create and maintain archival resources. This dataset makes available the Names metadata to the international standard Encoded Archival Context - Corporate Bodies, Persons and Families (EAC). The materials which Names index are covered in the separate dataset for Alexander Turnbull Library Unpublished.
