Government agencies and crown entities are required to publish their scope 1, 2 & select scope 3 emissions in their annual report each year. Whilst the Ministry for the Environment publishes some dashboards, the source data is not made available - preventing self-analysis. As the climate crisis deepens, reducing our emissions becomes more important than ever. Making this data freely available would help hold both agencies and the government of the day to account when considering their responsibilities to future generations.
