CERA manages the demolition process for the CBD. This request is for vector GIS data of the polygons of buildings (harder, but more accurate) or property boundaries (easier, but more approximate) in the CBD. The polygons should have attribute data that mark the demolition status e.g. no demolition/ok/to be repaired, demolition planned, demolition underway, demolition complete. Ideally this could be published, and regularly updated by posting to the LINZ Data Service.

The citizens of Christchurch still cannot access the CBD, and don't have a clear handle on the extent of buildings to be demolished in the CBD.

Making current data about the state of demolitions in the Christchurch CBD would enable better visualisations to be made available about what has been demolished, and what is still to be demolished.
