The Interim Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (ICDEI) intends to operate on a network model, drawing on the knowledge and expertise across government, including the Data Ethics Advisory Group (DEAG).
This will allow ICDEI to remain small and focused on connecting agencies together, while the expertise remains where it needs to. We believe this will provide the greatest benefits to Aotearoa and our data system.
A key part of the centre’s work programme is connecting people in the data ethics and innovation space across Aotearoa and internationally. This network will help us shape our thinking on a wide range of topics. We are currently developing a systems map and engagement model for connecting across our network.
You can stay up-to-date with the development of the network through the data.govt blog.
